Stage Info[]
The Shy Guy Newsroom is where the Shy Guy News is broadcast. It has appeared only once and that was when Donkey Kong was flipping through the channels one day on his TV. Shy Guys are the reporters for the Shy Guy News and so far it is the only known news station in all of the Marioverse.
Stage Layout[]
The stage is flat with blue tiles covering the floor and ceiling. In the middle is a desk with scattered papers on it and a Shy Guy sitting in a seat behind it. On the wall above the desk is a huge sign saying "SHY GUY NEWS". The desk can be used as a platform. The Shy Guy can be heard at times saying random things about the news. These saying can include: "An invasion of Shy Guys was seen attacking Toad Town today." "Donkey Kong was just seen with Pauline at the doors of Mario's Toy Company." "This just in: Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach... again!" "Diamond City's football team has just won the championships!" There are many other phrases, these are just a few.
Stage Hazards[]
Shy Guy Reporter: If you stand on the table for too long (3-8 seconds) the Shy Guy Reporter will attack you for 4-6% damage.
Collapsible Desk: If you jump on the News Desk 10 times, the desk will collapse causing 3-5% damage to whoever was on the desk at the time of collapse. After 15-30 seconds, the desk will rebuild itself.
