Rayman

Character Info[]

Rayman is the protagonist of the Rayman series, a video game created by Ubisoft. He is limbless and attacks by throwing his fists (although he shoots energy spheres in Rayman 2 and M). First appearing in 1995, Rayman debuted on the Atari Jaguar, PlayStation, Saturn and MS-DOS in Rayman where he had to defend his home from the clutches of Mr. Dark. Rayman reappeared in 1999, this time having to fight off Admiral Razorbeard in Rayman 2. In Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc Rayman has had to deal with André, the leader of the Black Lums. Soon afterwards, Rayman had to rescue his good friend Globox in Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge. Rayman is a major character in the Rayman Raving Rabbids series. He is Ubisoft's mascot.

General Information[]

Taunts[]

Up Taunt: Rayman stretches his 'limbs' briefly.

Down Taunt: Rayman reaches behind him and pulls out a random colored Lum before putting it back.

Side Taunt: Rayman faces the camera and makes the same ridiculous face as he does in Rayman 3.

Entrance[]

Murphy flies onto the stage carrying Rayman before he hops down to his starting position.

Kirby Hat[]

Kirby gains Rayman's blond hair and red scarf.

Moveset[]

Standard Special[]

Heavy Metal Fist (7%-24%): Rayman's fist turns to metal as he extends it forward in a long-range punch. This attack acts as a projectile and can be deflected by shields. It can also be charged up and can cause anywhere from 7%-24% damage.

Side Special[]

Shock Rocket (6%-12%): This attack is similar to Samus's Missile attack. Rayman launched a hand-guided rocket that can reach far away opponents and explode on them for 6%-12% damage. Its range is roughly a bit longer than Zelda's Din's Fire attack.

Up Special[]

Throttle Copter (1%-4%): Rayman utilizes his hair as a helicopter to boost himself into the air. Rayman is free to move to the left or right as he ascends and can damage opponents as he does so for minor damage. After his ascent, he'll use his hair as a glider in an attempt to soar back to solid ground.

Down Special[]

Vortex (2%-5%): Rayman creates a small vortex of wind around himself that can reflect projectiles and electrocute opponents who touch him for 2%-5% damage. Rayman can only remain in this state for up to 3 seconds before being consumed by the Vortex and taking 6%-10%.

Final Smash[]

Raving Rabbids (?%): A bunch of Rabbid's ambush the stage and attack opponents maniacally. Amongst these are Rabbids like: Afro Bunny, Clark Superbunny, Fireman Rabbid, Gift Bunny, Mime Bunny, Ninja Bunny, Rainbow Six Bunny, Raybid, Assassin Bunny, Bunny Fisher, Crash Test Bunny, Darth Bunny, Ghost Recon Bunny, Mario Bunny, Rabbidsformer, Spider-Rabbid, and SPARTAN Bunny. These Rabbids will attack with various objects referring to their appearances, like fire hoses, explosive packages, pogo sticks, swords, light sabers, and hi-tech plungers.
