Submission Details[]

Pit is a character submission created by DK3 and uploaded to the site on November 30, 2011 and reuploaded on June 20, 2013 after the site's revision. The first draft of the submission was highly inspired by his appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl with new Special Moves such as a Breaking Palm as his Side Special and the EZ Launcher as his Final Smash. After the first revision, the Final Smash was changed back to a Centurion Army attack similar to his Final Smash in Brawl with a moderately accurate and speculated moveset inspired by his appearance in Kid Icarus: Uprising. His Side Special was changed to a Violet Palm attack, and his Up Special and Down Special were as they are now in Super Smash Bros. 4.

Character Details[]

Pit is the star and the protagonist of the Kid Icarus series, debuting in the original Kid Icarus game on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986. He disappeared from the video game scene for nearly two decades until becoming a playable character once again in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Pit is Palutena's most loyal angel and the captain of her royal bodyguards in Angel Land. His mission is normally to save Skyworld from evil invaders like Medusa and Orcos.

General Information[]

Combo (Finish) Halo Ending  Pit finishes his multi-striking attack with a swift, upward slash of his blade.
Dash Attack Angel Ring  Pit dashes forward to a stop as he rotates his blade quickly.

Up Tilt Angel Kick  Pit plants his bow in the ground before kicking vertically using it for balance.
Down Tilt Low Slice  Pit slices forward along the ground with a quick blade while crouching.
Smash Moves
Side Smash Crusher Arm  Pit uses his heavy Crusher Arm weapon to smash opponents in front of him.
Up Smash Midnight Palm  Pit quickly and suddenly strikes upward with his Midnight Palm weapon as he casts three bursting lunar moon shots above him.
Down Smash Atlas Club  Pit takes out his Atlas Club weapon and slams it into the ground in front of him and then a second time behind himself.
Aerial Moves

Forward Aerial Tiger Slice  Pit slices downward while in the air using his Tiger Claws.
Backward Aerial Double Kick  Pit kicks backwards twice in succession while in the air.

Forward Throw Needle Palm  Pit throws his opponent diagonally forwards before firing a volley of needle-like projectiles in their direction.

Up Throw Volcano Arm  Pit tosses his opponent upwards a short distance before burning them with his Volcano Arm weapon.
Down Throw Shock Orbitars  Pit summons a pair of Shock Orbitars that briefly rotate around himself before zapping his foe and momentarilly stunning them.
Special Moves
Standard Special  Palutena's Bow
Pit holds his bow out in front, draws an arrow of light, and releases it. Pit can aim forward, behind him, or straight up. Using the Control Stick, Pit can influence the direction of the arrow after it's been fired to curve its trajectory. An arrow strike will cause between 5% and 8% damage and next to no knockback.
Side Special  Upperdash Arm
Pit quickly equips his Upperdash Arm weapon and begins to dash forward, delivering a furious uppercut to any opponent in his path. This attack can plow its way through weaker attacks to strike its target and has the ability to deflect projectiles as well. If used in the air, Pit will still travel horizontally forwards and can attack opponents just the same as if he performed the attack on the ground.
Up Special  Power of Flight
Pit will instantly propel himself upwards and on a diagonal slant of the Player's choosing by moving the Control Stick. This attack is similar to Fox's Fire Fox, but it has no charge-up and causes less damage and knockback. Pit can also not move in a direction more than or less than a 45° angle off of a straight, vertical trajectory. During this attack, Pit's wings will glow with a blue aura. Its range is closely similar to that of Lucario's ExtremeSpeed attack in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Down Special  Guardian Orbitars
Pit will summon a pair of shields called Guardian Orbitars that will position themselves to either side of him. If attacked, these shields will spin around Pit at a high speed and reflect the attack back at his attacker. This move can be used to reflect projectiles and physical hits alike, but the damage inflicted to his foe is halved. Pit can remain shielded for up to five seconds with this manuever, but if it's used to often, it'll require a recovery charge of five seconds before it can be used again.
Final Smash  Three Sacred Treasures
Pit equips the Three Sacred Treasures, the Arrow of Light, the Wings of Pegasus, and the Mirror Shield. The attack works in a similar fashion to the Final Smash of the same name in Super Smash Bros. 4, however Pit is now able to fly around the stage at free will with a comparable control method to Mega Charizard X's flight scheme. The player can trigger various attacks just as Pit used in Super Smash Bros. 4 as well. His Standard Special becomes a large homing arrow attack that can cause between 12% to 15% damage with a large amount of knockback. His Side Special allows him to unleash a volley of green arrows for 2% to 5% damage each. Up Special releases energy blasts from behind him that travel forwards on a downward angle for 3% to 6% damage a piece. And finally his Down Special, which can only be used once with each Final Smash, calls down three successive pillars of light with a great deal of KO potential and can strike for 15% to 20% damage on each hit.
