Stage InfoEdit

Metroid Processing features a central specimen tank containing an unidentified Phazon-infused object, along with various smaller stasis tubes around the perimeter of the room. This room was home to most of the Space Pirates' experimentation on the evolution of Metroids with regards to their environments. While most of the tanks are vacated by the time Samus arrives, an unidentified but newly discovered strain of Metroid from SR388, an unmodified Tallon Metroid, and a Zebesian Metroid were on display at some point, and their tanks can still be scanned. The Zebes specimen is labeled as the most vicious, while the SR388 one seems to have evolved into one of the forms from Metroid II: Return of Samus.

Stage LayoutEdit

The stage is flat, except for a single hole in the ground, which leads to a much larger area of platforms and Metroid cases. At the very bottom of the stage, Phazon is creeping up the background. The platforms are scattered about underneath the main floor, and are also varying in size.

Stage HazardsEdit

Metroids - Infant Metroids, regular Metroids, and Hunter Metroids all appear as threats on the level. When the center glass up on the main floor breaks, the Metroids will make their classic screech, and only one will escape before the barrier is raised again. Infants don't do anything other than fly around a random person, screeching. Regular Metroids will fly around, attempting to latch onto a random character. Simply mashing buttons will get the Metroid off. The Hunter Metroids can latch on from farther away, making them a lot more dangerous.
