The gluttunous, pink, puffball hailing from Dream Land, Kirby joins the fray. Originally named Popopo, star of the then titled game, Twinkle Popopo, he was renamed Kirby, and his game was renamed and translated into Kirby of the Stars. Kirby always has a positive additude in every situation and never thinks twice about lending a hand when Dream Land needs saving using his unique powers. Kirby's favorite activities are eating, sleeping, playing, and coloring. In Super Smash Bros. Unlimited, Kirby comes equipped with a new Final Smash. Kirby also now has a ranged grab technique hailing from his latest game; Kirby's Epic Yarn.

Kirby's Special Attack abilities include his signature Copy Ability, which allows Kirby to suck an opponent in and copy their Standard Special attack, letting Kirby use it against them. His Side Special attack, Hammer, is a strong attack with high K.O. potential, but becomes weak with repeated usage. Kirby's Up Special recovery attack is great for vertically ascending quickly, and can hit opponents up to three times. It also sends out a shockwave in front of Kirby upon landing, qualifying it as a projectile attack as well. His Down Special attack can transform him into a heavy object and send him crashing down on top of his opponents. Finally, his new Final Smash is a powerful attack that hits all his opponents for moderate damage and knockback, which can be best used whenever Kirby has a Final Smash in reserve and not just at any specific moment.
